| Building up traffic, where to begin? |

So admit it. You have seen other webmasters doing several thousands (dollars) a month.
What will stop you from doing the same? You need a drive to persevere in what you do and want to achieve.
There is an enormous amount of FREE traffic around. Every webmaster will get his share as long as he knows
where to get it and what to do to get the best share.
You want an easy-start?
This article is definitely for the serious webmaster just about to explore the internet in search for TRAFFIC.
Start building a site
This is the very first step. Put your pages on the internet.
But before you do this you will need to have a list of what you need to get started.
(1) Build up general traffic (so called mainstream) or traffic for a specific niche?
When choosing a niche you can have the advance that you will choose a niche that you personally like.
Examples of niches are: BDSM, LESBIAN, GAY, a FETISH (leather, stockings, feet and such), TEEN, MATURE, and a lot more I preferebly not mention right here and now.
(2) Knowing your niche (even if mainstream) you should choose a couple of SPONSORS to work for (other words often used: resel, partner).
Which sponsors can be interesting? Do some research. It will do you good to look at other webmasters and how they work. Visit several sites.
Use different means of searching to get there. Use the name of your niche to find the sites.
Via Alexa you can find out if that website you are visiting has many visitors. The more dedicated the website is into your niche, the better.
Watch for banners, these are usually fo rthe sponors (or advertisers). It does mean that that particulary website is converting good on that sponsor.
(I must leave out numerous other tips and hints since it will not fit. A follow up article will go deeper into this aspect).
